about Jack

Hi,

I have been teaching yoga since 2012, my passion for yoga began from a young age due to my interest in fitness, I found myself wound up tightly due to regular exercise, and like with many of life's questions yoga was the answer.

My family and friends say that I am a caring person, I try to provide a friendly place where everybody feels welcome. I often here people tell me that they are not good at yoga, and I tell them that they are great, why? because yoga isn't about doing the human pretzel pose, it's about turning up for yourself.

I have trained in various yoga disciplines, most notably completing a teaching qualification at the Vinyasa yoga school in Rishikesh, India. There are many styles of yoga and I tend to teach more of the traditional forms, by including yoga philosophy, principles and classic yoga postures.

I have worked as a yoga teacher onboard cruise ships international for a number of years and had opened a yoga studio in Basingstoke, England. I am now working as a part time teacher whilst I study a degree in Nutrition and dietetics.
